Welcome to Capital Region Crime Stoppers, a program that allows people to provide anonymous tips and information to local law enforcement with the possibly of receiving a CASH REWARD.

We at Capital Region Crime Stoppers understand that for a variety of reasons, it can be difficult to provide the police with information following a crime. We have also learned that many of those who are sometimes reluctant to speak with the police are the same people who want to better their neighborhoods, enhance quality of life and ensure the safety of their friends and neighbors. Our program encourages those residents to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by providing a means for overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.

Capital Region Crime Stoppers provides several ways for the public to submit 100% anonymous tips and information to the police:

  • You may call the Capital Region Crime Stoppers  hotline at 1-(833)-ALB-TIPS
  •  Submit a tip via this website by clicking "Submit a Tip" at the top of this webpage.
  • Download the FREE  application to your smart device or cellphone
Those who provide informations and tips that successfully lead to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
